CascadiaTools worked example: Habitat selection from telemetry - integrated step selection (iSSA), RSF and home ranges
Module: movement-ssf

These data are SIMULATED, so the true answer is known. See README_data.md.

To try it:
  1. Unzip this folder somewhere you can find it.
  2. Open the folder in Claude Code (with the CascadiaTools plugin installed).
  3. Paste the prompt below.

Prompt:
I have GPS collar data from 10 elk (elk_gps_2024.csv, one row per fix attempt, fixes every 2 hours, coordinates in UTM zone 11N) and two habitat maps of my study area: forest_cover.tif (% canopy) and elevation.tif (m). Please tell me whether elk select forest and avoid high elevation as they move, how strong that is, whether individual elk differ, and how large their summer home ranges are.

The analysis settings used for the published example are in config.yaml.
WALKTHROUGH.md shows every step the agent took and the results.
